Using Webroot and the Geek Squad through Best Buy is one of the best buys I have ever made. It is not often that a purchase of a product or service has us feeling that way! This is a service where they can remotely work on your computer while you sit at home and watch what they are doing. It is an amazing store in itself with such a variety of products and services, from kitchen appliances to high end drones, electric bikes π², head phones etc. I highly recommend this business. Go elsewhere for products at Gurnee Best Buy and Geek Squad service. Our washer has broken down twice now after a year. This time we have been without a washing machine for two weeks. Itβs still broken. They will just push your appointment back so I hope you have a laundromat nearby.

On the positive side, I can say that the associates I met with were respectful and easy to talk to. However, on the whole, my experience here was a downer. I came in with two Apple devices and a list of items that needed to be fixed on each computer. I was rushed through the intake process before I was able to completely explain all the issues with each device. Then I was asked to buy devices and a subscription I did not need. When I picked up the devices, none of the problems with either of the devices were actually repaired.

Geek Squad Driver from this facility deliberately brake checking other vehicles on the road on Washington while traveling under the speed limit in the left lane (for approx 6 miles mind you) and then making taunting gestures to passers by in the right lane. Could not get a license plate or reference number as it seems this driver wanted someone to rear end him. I will make sure to never use the services of this facility.

Installation team did not even bother to help put my START System on my Raptor. They made a mistake charging me something extra, then came in to speak to the manager and nothing was done, seemed tone the managers themselves were in training mode! What kind of service is this place.
