Update: Today i’ve got a new Ethernet card and was gonna replace it myself, they’ve tightened the screws so hard that my electric screwdriver wasn’t able to pull the screw out. It started getting warped, on a $4000 computer. I’ve reached out through the chat to schedule an appointment today so they can correct mistakes they’ve made. They told me we have to pay and wait for an appointment in order for them to correct mistakes they’ve made. The account is under my spouses name which of course i won’t disclose in the review, but rather in email/phone call or in person. Typical corporate neutral response “trying” to fix the issue without taking any real actions or providing information on how to get a hold of someone who can actually help. They’ve made it so hard to get a hold of any person with authority. It is extremely disappointing and the service has been downgrading over the past few years. Old review: We’ve been customers with Micro center over the past 15 years. The last time we’ve dropped a computer for an upgrade, we got it back and the cables were out of place and scattered all over, the front fan was screwed back in and not centered. Not to mention it took them week longer than quoted for the computer to be serviced. Also the cooling fans became louder after the service. I’ve called the corporate, they’ve said they will reach out to the store manager and never heard from them since.

Had what I wanted in stock, fair price. Wish my home state had a micro center. The store was clean, and the staff was helpful. Most importantly, they had what I ordered online for pick up. Was worried about since I was flying there just for that.

Thank you Erik G. For helping me with my RAM. I spent 3 hours trying to get my new ram sticks to work but was inserting it wrong. Erik helped me fix it in 5 minutes and was extremely helpful in explaining everything. Couldn't ask for a better customer experience. 100% recommend this store and their service center. I have also purchased many parts from this store and all the employees are very kind and helpful.

As a long-time loyal customer, I’m furious about the treatment I’ve received at this store and will never come back. I've spent thousands of dollars here, only to be treated like I don’t matter. When I asked about discounts, I was told that just because I spend money here doesn’t mean I get any breaks. They refuse to work with you on pricing, no matter how much you spend. I recently asked for help putting together my old PC—literally just needed a GPU installed and some cable management because everything else was already set up. They wanted to charge me a ridiculous $280 to “rebuild” it! When I asked to speak to another manager, James claimed he was the only one there. But then, I got a call from another manager later who said he had been in the back listening to our whole interaction. James even had the nerve to say, “Just because you spend a lot of money here doesn’t mean you should be treated differently.” It's common practice in any business to value loyal customers. I have a membership and a Micro Center credit card, but now I’ll be canceling it and cutting ties with this place for good. This experience has been beyond disappointing, and I refuse to support a company that clearly doesn’t care about its loyal customers.

There's nothing else like it, Best Buy doesn't come close. If you're building a computer, or looking for peripherals, other tech equipment, chairs etc, this is the place to go. Their tool selection is great, and they have a lot of really great deals on components if you're doing a new build. They have the best cable management supplies of anywhere I've been, Home Depot is a distant second. Recommend
