My experience was wonderful! I had been three places that could not help me and the last one suggested the Geek Squad at Best Buy, which I hadn't thought of not having had any real issues with my phone in the past. Kyle waited on me and was great! He immediately knew the problem, and spent 15-20 minutes fixing my malware issues. He was very personable and certainly very knowledgeable! And the price was extremely reasonable! I strongly recommend the Geek Squad and especially Kyle for any and everything they work on!!! Five stars in my book!

I had an appointment last night to have my phone repaired, although the advertisement shows that there is same day service option, since my appointment was at 5:40pm, I was open to the phone not being ready same day and the representative Kyle that assisted me was helpful at that time and I had been waiting for someone to contact me today since I was told that my phone would be ready in the morning. I came to Geek Squad a few minutes ago ago pick up my phone but the technician hadn’t been informed that the phone was there and had just got notified an hour ago that it was even there to be repaired. This does not fall on him since he was not the associate there last night that assisted me. There was a major lack of communication and having kids that go places I need my phone to communicate so initially what I needed to be serviced was not completed. And I had the service fee returned since I needed my phone. Mostly disappointed I was told one thing and the communication to make sure the phone was fixed properly did not happen.

The employees will tell you they're going to hold on to your belongings costing thousands only for an hour to diagnose it, then 10 hours later still won't have an answer & if you try to call you'll spend 2 hours on hold to talk to someone who live in another country because best buy corporate decided that stores don't take phone calls anymore. I'll be picking up my belongings from these clowns in the morning & never shopping best buy again

I found out i was being scammed from a fake person claiming to work for Geek Squad. I called the actual Geek Squad people at Best Buy and i was told it was a scam don’t send any money. They were very helpful even though i wasn’t getting any work done.

For the record, i never had any service done by geek squad. That being said, that was not from lack of trying. I understand that automated answering machines are useful to help decrease the number of calls the staff needs to answer. However, to my knowledge, there was no combination of buttons i could press to speak with a real human in the store i wanted to business with, only their distant call center. I dont know if it drives others crazy but it certainly does me, and unless i buy something at Best Buy, i will just use local computer shops for my business in the future.
