Showed up very early to pick up a laptop for my son's high school to college birthday present, they said they'd need to work thru the programming on the laptop to get it ready at geek squad, we came back and they said no it won't be ready wifi was being slow( not sure why a computer repair shop is at the Leasure of wifi and not hard wired) so that wrecked the big present for our son as it would not be ready, even though we showed up at about 4:15 and had until 6:20 when we came to pick up. They called us in the middle of the birthday party where we were about a half hour away in another city at 7 pm and told us we could pick it up, after we had already explained that this wouldn't work and that they'd dropped the ball. They proceeded to tell my wife dont worry we'll keep it we won't sell it. Yes we should hope so we've already paid for it. I show up after work the following day, where the young lady at the register passed me off to tell me she's not allowed to go into the back where the geek squad is so I need to get in line behind the other 5 people waiting for them. After waiting a long tint I get to the geek squad rep who can't find or figure out what computer I'm talking about, then gives me back to the first young lady, who buy now I've seen walk into the back of the geek squad a few times looking for stuff. That's enough to get under a call person's skin. After she looks all over again she calls a manager at which time she lets me know I can sit down in a chair to wait. That's where I started this review. They finally all come to a conclusion that the box sitting right at the front, opposite the register is my son's computer. These are the people you will be dealing with at this location, just so that you know before you go. Thanks for listening, J

These people are trash. We have apple care and they suggested this location as they are unfortunately associated with the geek squad. First off, I scheduled my phone for repair months ago and when I took it in (mind you they knew what I was needing done) they sent me away because they didn't have the part. I ended up just getting a new phone elsewhere. My wife has a cracked screen again Apple care suggested this location. The first day after scheduling an appointment for that specific repair they said come back tomorrow we don't have the part. Quick question .....Why can you schedule a specific repair in the system if you don't have the damn part in? Regardless she dropped it off the next day. They had her number under someone else's name and kept asking if she knew the person Who it was mistakenly scheduled under. It's a cracked screen easy fix right? They had the phone 5 hours then called me to tell me they couldn't log into some system and tried to call Apple and so thus they couldn't fix it..... We are done using these idiots today she took it to the Apple Store at the mall the tech asked if it had recent repairs, she said yes we took it to Best Buy in Nampa. The tech informed us I'm not so many words that the idiots forgot to put the screws back in. Thanks morons. These kids screw around behind their black curtain while people wait forever for them to come and have zero customers service etiquette. I've had nothing but bad experiences with their tech and bad customer service. If you are reading this avoid these clowns. Calling customer service to try to ask these guys anything I get some call center in India where they can't understand English very well and while they said they will transfer me to the store I get hung up on instead. It had been probably 10 years since I went into a Best Buy a few months ago, yesterday was the last time.

Very disappointed with the service I received at this location. We brought a gaming PC in for repairs that ended up needing to be returned due to warranty issues. We had to buy a new PC and they told us they would hold the old one on site until the new PC got there to do a data transfer. When we came back a few days later with the new PC they had already sent the old one to the manufacturer and has forgot to take out my USBC connector for my headphones. Without this connector my headphones are useless so I now have a pair of $100 headphones I can't use and they told me I was out of luck. They also did a" data transfer "and all they did was copy everything into a folder and put it on to the desktop of the new PC. Nothing transferred over. It is a massive mess on the new PC. Do not go to this location. They don't care about the client. Go to Boise way better customer service!!!

My old laptop hard drive crashed. They helped me find a new laptop and then the Geek squad took my new one, sat with me at counter and set it up, downloaded ally apps and docs from the cloud They took such great care, asking me if I understood, making sure I was satisfied. So thankful for them

Horrible experience, was sold the total tech plan becuase it was the same price of cloning my hard drove which they failed at. They ended up just transferring files over and setting up a new windows on my new hard drive so I had to manually transfer all apps, games and downloaded content from my old hard drive. My windows login and settings weren't moved over in the data transfer either. I had about 2tb of data on my old hard drive and only 264gb were moved. Getting my money back from this scam job. Now I have to do 2x as much work to restore my pc to what it was and clean up the mess these clown caused.
