Good man. Charges fairly based on the job, very informative. Estimation was 100 dollars compared to other shop's 140 per hour, was finally charged 75.

I had procrastinated getting my laptop fixed for awhile. When I finally contacted Steve, he got right back with me. From dropping off my computer to picking it up all back to normal, it was a 24 hour turnaround. He explained exactly what he did to make it right. I can't recommend this guy enough! When my laptop (which I purchased from Costco in 2020) started showing strange behavior, like the screen turning off randomly with no explanation, I first spent about a week in tech-support-hell trying to get Costco customer service to agree to look at the laptop (which was supposed to be covered by their warranty). They were pulling out every trick in the book. When I got sick of them, I contacted Boise Computer Repair. Steve was able to look at my laptop right away and identify the source of the problem. Unfortunately, it's a manufacturing issue so the laptop isn't fully repairable, but Steve definitely made it better than it was. Good communication throughout the repair process, he texted me pictures of the motherboard, was very willing to answer questions. Friendly, knowledgeable service, and extremely good price. Will definitely be back next time I have laptop issues. Much better than going around and around with Costco for another week...
