Took my phone to get the charging port fix. And when I got my phone back the screen was broke and cracked. When I took it in there was nothing wrong with my screen. And they said that they couldn’t fix it until I put in a claim with my insurance. Even though they are the ones who broke it. Do not recommend getting ur phone fixed here

On November 15th, I took it in because the screen wasn’t working but the rest of the computer was. I could still hook it up to an HDMI cable and use it. They said the ribbon cable was bad as the screen would only turn on if opened to a very small angle. They told me the new cable would be in on November 18th. As a college student going into finals, it was very important to get it done in a timely manner. I paid half down and left with the computer. A day later I got a call saying the part actually won’t be here until November 25th. That’s still before finals, I can make it work. I call on November 25th, it’s not there. I call on November 26th, it’s not there. I leave Rome for the holidays, upset that I’m going to have to wait yet another week, but understanding you can’t control shipping times. They call me November 26th, after I am hours out of Rome. I tell them I can’t come until I get back to Rome. I will be there Monday afternoon. I go in on December 2nd, the exact Monday I said I would be there. They said they can’t work on it because no one is there that knows how. It’s a lot frustrating because I’m now a week out of finals and struggling to finish papers and other assignments and they knew I was meant to come in that day. I go in again December 3rd and at first they tell me they can’t work in it because they have too many other projects. I asked if there was any way they could make it work because all the back and forth for weeks and it’s been extremely difficult for homework. They take it to work on it, though as the person walks away with my computer, they tell me “I’ve never worked on one of these computers. This will be a learning curve!” And tells me it’ll be done by 6:30. I wanted to turn around right then and there with my computer, what do you mean you haven’t worked on one of these? But I already paid half down so there’s not much I can do without losing $80. I get a call around 6:20 saying they somehow LOST the part they ordered weeks ago so now they can’t fix it. I can get a refund or they can order a new one. I was sick of all the back and forth and what they said about not knowing how to work on the laptop made me nervous so I got a refund. When i got back to the shop, they told me they were putting the computer back together. I found this really weird because why did they have it open if they didn’t have the part to fix it? As I was going through the refund, they tell me: “We had the part. We can order a new one but YOU wanted a refund so…”, and they said it in quite a rude/demeaning way that I did not appreciate. I opened my computer the next day and now it won’t turn on at all. The screen wont work period, not even at the small angle. It won’t even hook up through an HDMI cable anymore. I look closer and the screen is slightly bowed and the screen cover wasn’t put back on all the way. Two days later my boyfriend opens the back and multiple screws from the battery are missing, the wifi card is disconnected, and the screw that secures the hard drive is almost completely stripped. The last made me quite uncomfortable because why would they need to mess with the hard drive to replace a ribbon cable, especially when they didn’t even have the part. My boyfriend and I decided to do our own research and looked up the ribbon cable they said they needed to replace. Apparently they needed to replace the whole screen because you can’t take the just ribbon cable out. This whole ordeal was incredibly unprofessional and left my computer more broke than it was beforehand. Not to mention it wasted three weeks of my time where I could have actually gotten my computer fixed. I was left without a computer for finals and the last of my homework for the semester. I’m still stuck with out a computer and just hoping I can find someone who can fix the screen and their damage before next semester.

I tried to get my Apple Watch fixed here. They kept it for more than 2 months. I went in daily every weekend for the last 3 weeks and every time I was told it was on their desk and it would be ready the next day, but it never was. The last day I went in they told me unrepairable damage was caused by one of their technicians, so they offered me a partial refund for “their estimated value” of the watch and a pile of watch parts. They didn’t even call me to inform me of this damage. I found out when I was on my daily visit to their location on the weekend. I would stay away from this place.
