I wish I could give this business 0 stars. I decided to come here to get the back of my phone fixed. On 8/24/24 I took my phone to the owner Gerard at 8 am. Upon initial conversation I believed that he was a great guy and he told me it would take about 3 hours to fix my phone. I gave him my other phone number to call to keep me updated on the process. At 12 noon I called him for an update and I was told that he would be done at 2. 2:30pm rolls around and I give him ANOTHER call and he said “oh well yes you can come get your phone” Gerard proceeded to tell me “also as I went to fix the back of your phone your front screen went out and I had to fix that as well so I’m charging you an extra $100” I refused to pay an extra $100 for a mistake he made while fixing my phone. I sent my phone to him to fix the BACK not the FRONT. (Which was fully functional in perfect condition when I left it with him) After arguing back and forth i realized he was trying to scam me and was not going to get my phone back and i had to have a courtesy police officer meet me at his place of business so i could attempt to get my phone back. After the officer heard what happened from both sides, he agreed that Gerard cannot charge me an extra $100 for a mistake he made while fixing my phone. Even after everything I still sent him $100 for the back of my phone and it’s been two days and my phone is completely destroyed. The product he “fixed” my phone with is thin and cheap. I was talking on the phone and a crack formed and began crumbling in my hands and I will insert a picture of what it looks like now. Moral of the story DO NOT use this company! I wish there was more I could do to bring awareness.

I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE (-) STARS! SCAM! Please run away because Gerard the owner of this business and this business 404 Computer & Cell phone repairs is a Fraud and will SCAM you out of your money. As you can see I have attached photo proof. I called a month ago…to have them service my MSI laptop display panel (Screen) because it as destroyed in which he say he could replace. He said the process should take a week and only 2hrs once he sources the laptop screen replacement. On November 12th I paid via apple pay enabled through my bank account on my iPhone device. A month of excuses went by “The replacement is taking longer to arrive” “He’s backed up with repairs” and the last straw “the replacement screen was delivered but when he opens the box it was cracked”. I had to retrieve my laptop (still broken) and demand a refund. He had trouble initially placing my refund back his POS saying “Refund error” and then after me urging another attempt he had me tap my phone to his POS device similar to how he purchasing process went and rendered a receipt (image below) Please beware Apple advised to me that this is a fraudulent receipt. I am now attempting to retrieve funds directly through claims department from my bank after attempting to retrieve refund again from him which he denied. I will be reporting this corrupt business not only to Better Business Bureau but on every review and alert my 100,000 fans online through social media about this fraudulent black owned business that is robbing individuals such as myself during the holiday. BEware!! ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RECEIPT ADDRESS IS ALSO NOT THE ACTUAL ADDRESS OF BUSINESS WHICH IS ALSO A RED FLAG
