Called me and left a message to cancel an appointment stating that they don’t have parts to service an Apple Watch when my appointment was regarding an Apple Care exchange, not a repair. I tried to call back within 10 minutes and was met with a “call back within business house” message. I was well within business hours, I mean they just called me! So I tried to reach a manager, and ended up at an international call center. The call center rep told me “they don’t take calls” WHAT?! I can’t speak to anyone in the phone at that Best Buy store?? So my appointment was canceled, I can’t talk to anyone, not even a manager. What gives?? I mean I know everyone says Geek Squad sucks, but I’ve never experienced them until now and I can confirm. Geek Squad suuuuucks. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

The attendant at the counter was nice enough to work with us and I’m thankful he didn’t charge us for the diagnostics, but we are disappointed that they would not honor the warranty work needed on our device.

When I called the Geek Squad Customer Service, I got someone outside the US who listened well to my problem, gave me advice, a number to call the next day and was very detailed about what to expect. I was si impressed that I got his supervisor on the phone and suggested he five.this man a raise. I hope he did. Customer service like it used to be! My problem was resolved at.the Geek Squad at my local Best Buy the next day. They, too, were very helpful

I would not recommend Geek Squad for computer data transfer. They will only transfer files not software. Which would be fine if they explained the limited transfer upfront. It was a waste of my time and money. I had to take my computer to another company to get the service I wanted. Also, they do not take the proper time to handle each request. Geek Squad is definitely a more quantity over quality establishment. Due to the lack of communication about the service being provided, I was given a partial refund.

I thought it could be helpful for those of you wanting to use this location. If you get Frank then set a new appointment. I bought a new computer and needed my files transferred, etc. The one drive synch was not synching after two days and he said it would take more time. I reached out to a friend that was a little more knowledgeable and it turned out one of the files was hung up or corupt and after deleting the file it instantly synched my entire drive. Frank did not even take the effort to see what was going on. In addition he was extremely rude when I asked a question and his answer was "I think I already answered that - I have been doing this a long time". Who says that to a customer. I also exported my google chrome bookmarks and showed him that this file did not synch and he said that html files wont synch....when the corrupt file was corrected it immediately synched all files. Frank maybe you have been doing customer service for "too long" and you should get out of this business. I paid best buy the yearly service fee for geek squad to trouble shoot and fix my issues and you did absolutely nothing. There were a few more instances of "I cant help you" but believe anyone reading this gets the idea. I would ask for Ascher and would have used him but I did not have time the day I bought the computer so I scheduled to come back another day and unfortunately I got stuck with the rude and unprofessional Frank too lazy to troubleshoot anything. I will be cancelling my best buy annual service plan as a result.
