I called a couple of weeks ago to ask about getting an old smart watch battery replaced. The man who answered seemed preoccupied and disinterested in hearing what I was asking for and the model information i was giving him. He told me they could do the repair, gave me the estimated price I asked for and told me to make an appointment online. So fast forward to today, I finally decide to make an appointment online and go. Well, as it turns out, they can't do the repair because the model is too old. I should have called a second time before driving over to make sure again. On a positive note though, the staff in store was great and on top of their stuff. Friendly greetings and clear communication and explanations while working with you. Their check in system in place for appointments was efficient and the man who helped me today was very helpful. He explained why they couldn't do the repair, which made total sense and gave me good advice on other places that might could help me out with my watch. I'd come here again for sure, but I'd triple check that they fully researched what I was bringing to them before making the drive and waiting in line. 5 stars for the people working today. 2 stars for the guy on the phone a couple weeks ago. So, 3 stars is where we're at...

I love the geek squad at Best Buy in Jensen Beach, FL. I called and made an appointment. Only a brief wait & they immediately resolved an issue with my gaming PC & accessories. I recommend the membership.

Have you tried to actually talk to a person at Best Buy? Their automated phone system must be designed to drive them out of business. I am not going to drive all the way to the store to get a simple question answered. Customer service is dead.

I went to Best Buy / Geek squad after calling them to see if they provide service for my HP laptop. On the phone, sure, yes. I arrived, lap in hand and described the issue. You need an appointment, I was told. I came back with an appointment and described the issue, again. "Oh, we have to send it out to HP". Could have done that yesterday. They tried to set it up for service "Oh, do you have a geek squad warranty?" No, no one mentioned that. After trying to set up my laptop to be sent out ($85), I was told, we can't send it out UNLESS YOU HAVE A GEEK SQUAD WARRANTY. My money is no good?? Sorry. Better luck next time. Wasted three hours of travel time in traffic, gas, etc. GUESS WHAT. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME. One star is one too many.

Love these folks! They took great care of me. It did help that I knew what I needed and made an appointment. I have seen others just walk in with random/simple questions and they tried their best to make it all better for them. Geek Squad is very popular so make an appointment if at all possible. Good follow up after the job was done.
