Took my Pixel 6a in for a swollen battery and the lady looked at it she said it would need a new screen because it was cracked and would crack more during battery replacement. Battery cost, 109.99, screen cost 179. She said it was not worth the cost to repair it. Upgrading to a Pixel 8 was only $350. It's nice to deal with folks who will be up front with you and not try to take advantage of your situation. I would recommend them just for this fact alone!
