I brought my laptop in after my display completely stopped working. This was not a simple fix, as the screen started to physically detach from the main unit due to a cracked hinge. Elvis was ready to refund my entire payment after he ordered the parts he needed when he thought he couldn’t get it to work, but (thankfully) got it working. Friendly, professional, and efficient.

I advise you to avoid this scammy and untrustworthy repair shop by any means, as I was scammed out of $300 for a repair that didn't happen, with a computer that only worked in the shop for a split second, that didn't work when I got it home. Honest shops don't charge for diagnostics, and they give guarantees for work. And when you bring a computer home from the shop, it should work - not so here. In short, I was cheated. I'm sure you can guess the reaction I got when I asked for refund. From the instant I stepped foot in there, the place gave me shady vibes - a feeling that doubled when I was told that there was charge for a diagnostic (imagine if mechanics did this for an estimate!), which sounds scammy already...and do you have any idea what a distinction it is to come off as scammy in MIAMI? It was because I got a bad vibe that I asked about guarantees (a thing honest shops do), and the guy practically sweated bullets when I asked about that. Well, I should have listened to what my gut instincts were screaming at me, because I brought my computer broken, unable to boot up or access the BIOS, and though it seemed to work fine in the repair shop for a demonstration, the instant I took it home and plugged it in, the computer was doing exactly what it did when we started. Now, this was $95 for an estimate and $200 for a project - for a computer that didn't work. Of course, when I went to pick it up, the computer worked beautifully....well, just inside his repair shop/house, that is. The instant I got it home an hour later, the exact same problems I brought to him were striking again, and I was $300 poorer for nothing. I brought it back the next day and he started telling me it was a hardware problem. As near as I can tell, either he didn't check the hardware. I can understand overlooking something, but not when you charge $95 for a diagnostic. I was told no refunds - even though my computer didn't work when it got home, so he basically did nothing. The guy even had the chutzpah to say that I brought him a different computer, which is...well, incredible.

Had a mouse and keyboard issue, not working. Took it to the GeekSqaud on Best Buy and thet gave me some story that was not ture and try to charge me $200 to repair. I found this company and decided to give them a try. Boy was I glad I did, they not only repair the problem for less. But they repair it within an hour.
