Never again will I ever go to Geek Squad. I tried to take my Hp laptop to get checked out because the screen was going black when I turned it on. Instead of taking the time to see how they can help me, one of employees instantly told me that they can't help me because I don't have a membership and if they did repair it, it would be $200 and up. I got this price without them running a diagnostic test so I was confused by this number. Regardless, horrible customer service and I won't be returning.

When I called to make an appointment geek squad, mentioned that they do back glass replacement for the iPhone 14 for $189. Once I arrived the geek squad technician mentioned the device was unrepairable and that I would need a full replacement costing over $700. I took it to another shop who was able to replace the back glass with no issues. I’m not sure if it was a misdiagnosis or if it was an upsell opportunity.

Called to see if they could help me figure out why my camera battery was not charging. On the phone, very polite and eager to assist the issue. Even told it wouldn’t be a problem at all to figure out which part would need to be replaced. In the store, I was told they can’t do anything. No type of test can be done besides what I’ve already done myself. The information I gathered from my attempts were thrown out the window and not put into consideration. They said my cord was putting out 1volt of electricity while my camera said it’s taking in 19.8volts while plugged in. I was very specific saying the issue is the charging plate or the battery , just needed to known which one. I was told it could be replaced in store while the woman at the desk said she does not carry any of this. I was very specific with my equipment on the phone. 0 stars

Refused to install my stereo because it was a dual and he ultimately refused because he never installed a stereo in a volvo before and said he didnt want to. Take your business elsewhere, if they aren't wiilling to learn something new they aren't worth your money
