I originally brought in my gaming computer, which has two drives, for repair because it wouldn’t boot up. At the outset, I was asked if I had a backup, and I confirmed that my data was stored on the second drive. I was assured that only the unbootable C Drive would be replaced. However, when I returned two days later, I was informed that the second drive had been replaced instead, and none of my files could be recovered. I was also told that someone had supposedly communicated this change to me, which never happened. To make matters worse, they wanted to charge an additional $50 to $500 to attempt data recovery by sending the second drive to another location. I had already paid upfront and had not agreed to the removal of the second drive, regardless of its condition. When I asked to speak with the technician responsible for this mistake, I found that the employee, Jason, had no real solutions and informed me that the technician was unavailable. The poor communication throughout this process has led me to completely lose trust in this location, and I will not be bringing my personal electronics here again. Also, when I handed my gaming computer to the technician, I made sure to provide it in a protective sleeve. I even asked if he wanted the case, but he declined. When I received my computer back, I found the plugin and extension resting on top of it, along with the sleeve folded up. I expressed my concern, stating that my computer is not a table and I wanted to avoid scratches. This incident highlights the lack of care for personal belongings at this establishment.

2 plus years ago, i canceled my Geek Squad service agreement. The support received by phone from India was HORRIBLE and on one occasion the technician told me he could not solve my PC issue and this was after I had spent long periods of time on the phone waiting for assistance. My PC was essential for me since I was working from home. Fast forward to today and without many options, I came back to the Best Buy location on Federal Highway. I was assisted by a technician name Nigel. He was professional, patient and overall Outstanding! Within a reasonable timeframe my PC was working and functioning perfectly. Thanks to Nigel and I hope if I ever have to return, he will still be there. He regain my faith with the Geek Squad!

The folks from Geek Squad are really nice and handsome. They took me in earlier than my scheduled appointment because I arrived early. They successfully tested two of my devices, answered all of my technical questions knowledgeably, and provided all possible recommendations. I left satisfied.

The staff is a bit rude, they take ages to help you with the products and they don’t even do effort to try to be friendly.

I booked an appointment to have a tv I bought online delivered and installers. Geek Squad charged $250 for this service. I had an additional tv that I bought in store with a mount for it to be hung and was told the installers delivering and installing the first tv would hang it as well for an additional fee. I waited two weeks for the soonest appointment and then they told me they have too many appointments to hang the additional tv. So now I get to pay an additional $250 for the tv I was told they would hang but didn’t have time to. Completely ridiculous!
