I was not sure how this review was to go, they were great and nice at first, with my computer having problem with its screen just freezing and pixelating randomly. It took them a while to fix it but then I was off to college. A little less than two weeks later the problem has returned. I have no way of easily getting to them being in several hours away nor as a college student the money for more repair. I called in hopes of getting an extension on the warranty till i could get away from college, likely in the spring, but they game me so much more, As I write this review they have promised to refund me, thanks to a wonderful women named Sonja. In the end I might need more repairs or to just get a new laptop but they have been helpful beyond imagining and after what they just promised I can assure you that they do care about you as a customer and your problems as a person.

I have used GoPC for several things and I've been very happy. My dinosaur of a laptop is still up and running thanks to them. I bought a refurbished Mac from them about two years ago that is working perfectly. And, when I told them what I needed for a phone at my office they suggested, sold, and installed magic jack, which I have been thrilled with. I also know some folks that have been very happy with the home audio stuff they do.

Everyone at Go PC was honest, reliable and went above and beyond with my computer issues. Corey K was able to search for an alternative, cost effective method to replace my broken mother board on my MAC. Anthony ran multiple tests to ensure my computer was working correctly and their satisfaction guarantee is FOR REAL and they ensured I was comfortable with "my new" computer and offer future support for any issues that may arise.

My experience with this business is not a happy one. Apparently, unknown to me at the time, the reputation of this business precedes it. I sure wish I had known before I used their services; now over $500.00 later I am feeling taken. Here's my story: In early 2016 I took my Acer Aspire to Go PC because I had gotten a black screen and it was unresponsive. The tech there talked me into a rebuild.I was told that they could do a complete rebuild for a little over 400.00. I was told that for that price, it would be a 500 gig hard drive, where I had a 1 tb hard drive at that time. Hesitantly I agreed. I picked it up and for a couple of months it ran fine. Meanwhile I had to go back up north to my residence. Shortly after my return I was having issues with the PC. I contacted Go PC and a tech went in remotely and corrected the issue. I was told that I would have to pay a 47.00 fee after the fact. I objected because this was or should have been a warranty item. They agreed to not charge me. I came back to Fernandina Beach in December. Around mid January I Booted up the PC and got a black screen. I took it to Go PC. When I picked it up, the tech told me that the video card was loose and he tightened it and it was running fine. The charge was $90.00. I paid it and went home. 2 days later the same thing happened...Black screen. I called Go PC, talked to the tech who had done the work and was told it would cost me another 90. So I bought a new PC from another source; Very Unhappy. I had to remove the hard drive from the now dead PC so I could transfer my data from the old hd to my new PC. I discovered that the hard drive they put in my PC (The Rebuilt PC) was a Lap Top hard drive. They attached it to my D drive with Velcro....yes, Velcro. I can't really say whether or not anything else was replaced in the rebuild, as I am not a computer tech. After talking with some other Computer techs in the area I was told that Go PC doesn't have a great reputation around here. I was also told that by a tech at Best Buy in Jacksonville. He said that in Fernandina Beach, it's an open market because there are few options for PC repair. He said I could have saved about 400 on the hard drive, as the Geek Squad would have charged about 50 bucks for a hard drive swap out, plus cost. This is all hind sight right now. I just wish that I had known about them in advance. The problem is; there are no real reviews on most businesses here, so you end up taking chances and you get what you get. That is why I am writing this review. That is why we should ALL write reviews...good or bad, so it will help others. Hope this helps someone else out there, but do yourself a favor, and stay away from Go PC.

The staff and owner of go pc are very knowledgeable and helpful in every asset from PC repair and building to IT services. I have done business with them for my personal and work computers and i couldn't be happier with the performance and quality of the builds. Corey has gone out of his way with his busy schedule to answer any questions i have had. I would highly recommend go pc for everything from high end gaming systems to graphic design machines or setting up servers and other IT services. their experience and knowledge is second to none.
