The owner is a jerk. I offered $5 on Facebook for a speaker and then show up at his shop and now he wants full price ($10). Then he says "goodbye" rudely. Drove 35 miles to get there.

Poor customer service and quality. After 3 months of minimal use, the hard drive they replaced failed. I was charged to replace the broken hard drive and the owner would not return my failed hard drive which contained my personal info on it (yes my own hard drive) without charging me for it! The owner was rude and argumentative when I brought up the idea that perhaps a reputable business would have replaced this for no charge, especially for a loyal customer. He disagreed and actually said, "we don't want your kind of customer". So if you are a reasonable, kind person who would like quality work with high quality replacement parts, DO NOT go to Compatible Computers, the owner does not want your business. The computer was returned filthy (during COVID). Customer service, quality care, and reasonable reactions are truly important for continued business.

Went to go buy a laptop, sent him the money the computer glitched I said I didn’t want it he said he wasn’t going to refund me it was too late I called the cops once the cops came he said he was going to take me to small claims court instead of giving me my refund.

It was the worst experience I ever had with a business in general. Worst customer service he’s basically a scam. Told me he was going to fix my computer for $180 and it will take a week. One month later tells me he can’t fix it for that price and it will be over $250 and will take another month to fix. He is never up front and will try to sneak prices in the bill without you knowing. I wanted to abandoned this project and just get my computer back. After literally fighting with the business owner over the phone and having him hang up on me over 5 times to get him to explain why I’m still being charged for labor even though he can not fix my computer. His response “I opened it didn’t I” He still charged me for labor even know nothing was fixed. Was trying to charge me more money to put my computer back together in the exact “broken” shape it was before when I dropped it off. He’s a complete child and has no communication skills when talking to customers. Will scream and hang up the phone on you forcing you to call back multiple times. I felt like I was dealing with an emotional child instead of a business owner. Was made fun of over the phone. He will comment on the reviews left on google and just say I don’t remember you coming into my store. These kinds of people won’t succeed with true and honest business. That’s why he’s angry and doesn’t handle customer well at all. PLEASE I ADVISE ALL PEOPLE IN THE MARKET TO FIX THEIR COMPUTER HARDWARE TO NEVER PAY THIS BUSINESS A DIME. You will not be satisfied, you will be empty pocketed with your experience on the lower end. Be safe don’t do business with a person who doesn’t like customers. Just the cash in your pocket.

Worst experience I have ever experienced. He is misogynistic and very rude. My brother brought it there to change the hard drive when it was given back to us the speaker was not working. I called and he was incredibly rude I brought it back and he said there is nothing he can do because he didn't do it when clearly he did because it worked before we dropped it there and his other customers are more important than me and it's my problem and not his (exactly his words). Just worst experience ever, don't waste your money there.
