I drove from New Haven, and there was no parking. So inconvenient. The parking in the back is not their parking. At this office, you have to park at your own risk.

After a horrific experience at the Meriden, CT location where the representative wanted me to open up a credit card just to look at the product before being fixed, JEFF at the North Haven location was not only helpful and understanding but he was knowledgeable and compassionate about his work. He helped assure me that he would take the necessary time to review what the problems might be before I was charged for a fix. Absolutely stunning customer care by Mr. JEFF. Would not hesitate to come back if I could work with this same employee.

I would like to write this not to simply complain, but to prevent others from experiencing what I did. I made an appointment 5 days prior to have my iPhone 7 battery replaced, this was stated in the appointment application. I arrived, had the phone battery checked, and it indeed needed to be replaced. They did not have the part, and could not order it without holding on to my phone for an undisclosed time while the part was shipped. Extremely frustrating, easily avoidable, and this policy should be changed.

Unbelievable service. I had taken my laptop there, because it has been acting slow ever since I purchased the laptop 1 year ago. I brought it there, and sure, the first guy was incredibly nice! He looked at the laptop, and happily ran diagnostics on the system (since the machine was under warranty). About a day later, he said there were viruses on it - and they couldn't remove them because that's not what my warranty is for. He also said removing the viruses would solve the issue. Not true whatsoever. I came back the next day, and this is where it began. I had told him what had been done, and he simply said to me: "I don't know what you want us to do about it." Then, he had told me that my anti-virus - isn't anti-virus, but a virus itself. We had argued about it for, I'm gonna say 5 minutes. So I asked him what he recommends, and he simply points to the stuff on the shelf. Of course, why not? Geek Squad and Kaspersky probably have a fling going on, and he's just advertising to me so I can spend money. I'm pretty sure, according to cnet, avast! is rated #1 for free ANTI-virus. I happened to be there with my mother, and she mentioned that she uses Norton Internet Security - which she PAYS for. He continued to say that those were viruses, and just be overall rude. So, I stormed out of the store - nearly flipping him off. We sent a complaint to the BestBuy manager about this incident. About 2 WEEKS later, we finally got a call back. It was indeed the manager. When we talked to him, he CONTINUED THE ARGUMENT that avast! and Norton Internet Security were viruses. Why can't businesses like Geek Squad just be honest? All they want is your goddamn money. I'm never returning to that Geek Squad in North Haven. BestBuy, however, is a great store for North Haven! No issues there! Just the asshats at Geek Squad!
