My CPU fan was acting up so I called them up and they were able to take me the same day and replace my fan. I had my PC back good as new in a few hours and for a very reasonable price.

Avoid this place. Massive overcharge!! The fan on my laptop died so I bought a replacement fan. I asked computer world to replace the fan for me. "Did you buy the right part?" he asked. "Yes I double checked my specs. It should work for my model." I replied. I am aware of computer shops charging hourly labor charges. I told them upfront it wouldn't take them an hour and I didn't want to be charged for an hour. Them: "This might take up to an hour. Sometimes fans are under the motherboard so its more complicated than usual. ME: I just opened my laptop and looked at the fan. Its out in the open. It wont take an hour. It wont even take half an hour. Them: Did you damage the cords when you looked? ME: What? No. Here's my laptop. A couple hours later his employee calls and says his boss is charging me a full hour of labor. I confirmed with the employee that it was a total of one minute of work. I went in to pickup my laptop and to say that I didn't agree to pay for a full hour. The owner demanded a full hour be paid. He kept lying straight to my face while overcharging me. "I have to do it." "The new fan was in a case that I had to remove"(a couple seconds of work) "Everyone does this". I wish he was upfront with his customers so I could have never gone here.

Lost a charger for a very important laptop. Called them up ahead of time to see if they had a charger that would work. I thought it was going to be 70$ secondhand. Nope. 25$. Quick in & out. Will definitely be back!
