Geek Squad is not the Geek Squad we use to know. Spent 2 hours trying to connect my sonos Sound Bar and totally failed. they blamed it on the TV HDMI port going bad. Changed cables and everything else. There were 2 guys. One sat and played games on his iphone the whole time. I watched him. The other was incompident. then they screwed up the connection on my WII Game. They finally left blaming the TV and still charged me. I had another entity come in to check out the TV before I bought a new one they said it worked fine!!!!!!

Dropped in remove my hard drive without an appointment. Was taken care of immediately at no charge. Great service!

Ordered a TV online with Best Buy. I paid for install and delivery at the same time and scheduled an appointment. Yet every day for a week I kept getting notifications to reschedule. I had to go into the store to get an appointment to actually be set. On the day of delivery the technician shows me that the screen is cracked and said he saw box damage before he came but thought it’d be ok. I was told that a manager would call me with options. Nope no call. I call Best Buy and every store goes to a National call center now. Spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to get a replacement but had to go back to the store. They couldn’t figure it out so they canceled my order and placed a new one. Then I get calls that my scheduled delivery will need to be rescheduled. I email the manager and call the National number only to be told 3 times everything is set. Well it gets late on delivery day and I call to get an ETA… I’m told that my appointment needs to be rescheduled AGAIN! I ask for a store manager and district manager name so I know who to ask for when I go to the store. I’m told this is confidential information and won’t be shared. Stay away from Best Buy and Geek Squad until they can figure out how to operate under COVID conditions (18 months in already).

Terrible customer service by none other than the shift manager! Lack of willingness to work with me in any way to pick up my order that was still sitting in the store. Absolute refusal to do anything besides sit his but behind the security desk. Useless human, useless policies in the store. Congrats, you lost a customer in your store, you lost a credit card holder for your company, you lost a $200 per year subscription holder and now you earned a 1-star, a formal store complaint, a better business complaint and most important bad word of mouth, and in a small town, that may be worse than the rest. I will never spend another dollar in your store and will recommend that no other person does either.

This store doesn't want to work. I went to the store at 11am to get my screen replaced and I was told can't do that today we have a 3 pm appointment I can schedule you for. So I set that up and return at 3 they said that is a hour job and why didn't I get it done at 11 I said the employee said they can't do it. At the 11am to schedule a appointment the next day so I did and go back to the appointment the next day and we can't do the repair we don't have a screen. If you plan on getting any service from best buy or geek squad I recommend you choose a different store!!!!
