I wish I could give negative stars. Only giving one star because I cannot rate any other way. I've lived in Grand County for nearly 10 years and have been in this store many times for Verizon issues and have bought several Verizon phones from High Country Cellular. I ALWAYS walked out with issues resolved or new phone in hand. However, I have not been in the store since they moved locations and became an appliance and cellular store. Recently I went into High Country for a new phone. I was greeted at the door by Jason L. My first question to him was if they were still an authorized Verizon dealer. He answered yes, not only once but twice because I asked a second time just to make sure. We felt rushed and he wasn't very informative about much. I left there feeling unsure about my purchase. We got home to set up a new prepaid phone only to find out 3 hours later from Verizon customer service they are NO longer a Verizon Authorized dealer and the phone I bought was not for a Verizon network! He lied to my face!!!!! These guys are shady, and I will drive over the pass for a Verizon store. I will never step foot in this store again. IF YOURE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A VERIZON NETWORK PHONE, DO NOT BUY FROM HIGH COUNTRY CELLULAR! SHADY BUSINESS! It saddens me to leave such a review on a small and local business but lying to customers is UNACCEPTABLE!

Jason L was so awesome !!! Just moved here and my old phone crudded out on me and I was dreading the hour drive to the nearest Walmart ... but Jason totally took care of me Even set up my new phone and activated it so it was super super easy ! Thanks for the great customer service and I'll definitely be back !

Clancy was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. I have spent a total of 6 hours with various Verizon costumer service representatives over the last 2 days and Clancy was the only person who could figure out what was going on with my account and phone. He persevered and was friendly the whole time. Thank you for your help.

Came in needing a phone. Already talked to a guy a few days before so should have been a quick job. They had me wait on the couch extending my wait time from 20 minutes to 30 minutes more after waiting because of new people walking in getting prioritized over me. I understand they are trying to sell and up sell, but I was not only here before the two people before me, but I also knew what I wanted. So why did I have to wait behind people I entered before. It wasn't by appointment today, so no reason for this wait. They also still don't wear masks as someone complained about 3 months before mine.

As a business owner myself I know the extreme importance of customer service. Holly went above and beyond for me. I came in to replace a phone but with the knowledgeable staff they directed to me to the best deal for my business. It was not an easy process to hook up 5 devices at a drop of a hat, their was some difficulty along the way and a lot of time was spent getting me just what I wanted. Holly stayed on the phone with tech support 3 hours after the store closed to make sure I was set up and running so that my business could stay operational the next day. She could of easily told me they were closing and we would have to continue the next day but she didn't and that speakes volumes for me. Her staff worked through lunch and multitasked on all the devices. Kudos to your store Holly!
