uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

I originally came in for just a crack on my back screen around 5PM on 1/9 and was told to come back the next day when they open, okay that’s fine. I dropped my phone off around 10AM the next day 1/10 and before leaving I was told to come back in 2-3 hours. I come back a little over 3 hours later and was told they have been slammed and my phone wasn’t ready to come back in an hour to an hour and a half. I go home and almost 2 hours past I finally call before I head back to the store and was told “It should only be another hour or two.” I explained that I dropped it off at 10AM and was told it’d be done by 1, then when I came in at 1:30 I was told to come back around 2:30. The guy over the phone said, “i don’t really know what to tell you so.” I just said okay and hung up. I finally called again to check at 3:15 and asked and it’s a different guy who answered and he tells me, “my tech is getting ready to open it now, give us another 45 minutes.” I give them more than 45 minutes and I show up to the store at 4:50. I get there and it’s STILL not done and the tech is still finishing up. I finally get my phone after waiting a bit longer, once i got home i notice what looks like particle in one of my lenses that was NEVER there before, i tried wiping it to see if its exterior and nope, it is INSIDE the lens. At this point im inspecting my phone and compared it to my husband’s phone who also have the same exact model, same phone. The backscreen to mine isn’t fit correctly, his back screen is in all the way with no feeling whatsoever, it’s just smooth. Mine on the other hand the edges you can feel the the replacement screen almost like there is a whole layer on top something not smooth. it’s the whole edges of the phone, my phone prior to the replacement never felt like this. this to me was a red flag. I shined my light and put our phones side by side and notice the back of my phone have slight space on the top and one of the edges where his does not. I finally made a call since getting my phone back and the speaker is muffled. I will be canceling my insurance because of this, since asurion goes through UbreakIFix. I won’t be taking my phone back for them to redo as I no longer trust them. I will be going elsewhere. The sad part is I was ready to take my gaming laptop for them to fix before all of this.

Very helpful staff. Have had an android phone and old desktop evaluated by them. Fixed the phone but the computer had died. Highly recommend. My only complaint is their phone. If they are busy they don’t answer the phone and there is no way to leave a message. It can be inconvenient. I think it would help your business if you at least had a recording vs just letting it ring

I gave a one star when I really wanna give them a negative star! Do NOT under any circumstances take your phone into this company. They are definitely scam artist! we gave them my son‘s phone so that they can repair My son’s charging port that was the only issue wrong with that phone and after 2 weeks we get the phone back And the phone is absolutely damaged. The camera cracked the actual case cracked, and they have the absolute nerve to say well you brought your phone here and phone still works no harm done!! Like excuse me… they refused to fix their own damage to the phone.. I am absolutely appalled. Do yourself a favor and find another place to get your phone repaired! I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau!
