Like New PCs

EDIT: Took my pc to another shop today and found out Like New PCs, did infact take out and reinstal my ram in the wrong slots (they were in the correct spots before they worked on it) , installed my cpu cooler wrong (was in correctlyand how i wanted it beforethey got it), and took out all my fans and installed them backwards and damaged them so they ALL need replaced. Like New PCs wasn't even supposed to touch any of that, just diagnose a gpu issue, reinstall my old gpu which they did, and install windows 11 which they did not. They have cost me an extra $475 to get all of this fixed by another shop. DO NOT COME HERE Friend of mine took my pc here after he installed a new cpu cooler and gpu. My pc refused to turn on after the gpu went in so he asked them to do a diagnostic to see what was wrong and also upgrade my system to windows 11. They did the diagnostic and found out that the gpu was busted and reinstalled my old one which I definitely appreciate, but they didn't install windows 11 like he asked and left my pc a total mess. They without asking, reinstalled the cpu cooler a different way because my friend had it upside-down to fit in better and hide the wires. At first I thought it was ok until I got it home and could actually look inside my case as they had my pc with the back facing me when I picked it up, they shoved all the wires in the front instead of feeding them into the back the way my friend had it so it is aestheticlly not great, moved my ram sticks without asking as they were staggered on purpose, and didn't prop up my gpu with the support I have in there so it was sagging considerably when I got it home. (I put it back in place before I took these pictures because it was sagging so much it scared me to leave it for any longer) I will say they did stay open slightly longer so I could come pick up the faulty gpu, and drop off my old one which I did appreciate. I unfortunately will be taking my pc to a different shop to fix the mess of cords that are really bothering me, install windows 11, and get a new gpu installed.

I have taken several items to them for repair. Always have been happy, but I recently took my laptop in. They did a diagnostic for $69.99. They told me it needed some work that would cost an additional $50.00. I paid that but then I was informed that it would cost more for some other things. I thought that was what the diagnostic was for. Get everything in writing. I feel they lied to me about what it needed then wanted to keep adding up.

Been a customer of theirs for the last few years. Brought my laptop in with 2 stripped screws. They were able to remove them both, replacing them for free! I highly recommend these folks for any pc repairs or builds you need! Thanks so much Like New PCs

They don’t roll their eyes when I come in with an “user error” problem. They have always been quick and reasonable when I’ve had to leave my laptop with them. Grey-haired friendly!

Working on my newest book when my PC went blam-fritz-bananas. Called, hauled it in, and Like New PCs had it up and running better than new the next day: installed a new drive, saved my settings, recovered my data, walked me through the changes, and I was back to work. I'd rather use a locally-owned business than a Big Box upseller any day, and they were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, I could not rank them higher.
