Got my phone battery replaced by the Geek Squad here, (only chose it because it was an option through the settings app in my phone). Brought it in Saturday, December 2nd, and picked it up 4 1/2 hours later (after being promised several times it would be 3 hours at the absolute latest), and ever since the speaker at the top of my screen has buzzed incessantly anytime I've used my phone. I now can't use my phone for phone calls or to play videos/go on social media unless use airpods, and when I asked them to fix it, they said there's nothing they could do since "it didn't flag as damaged while running diagnostics" after they fixed my phone battery. If I want it fixed it will cost me an additional $200 to get my whole front screen replaced, and honestly I'm too nervous to pay them fix it because I think they might break a different part of the phone that they'll then refuse to fix.

I will never use Geek Squad again. I made an appointment several days ago for an Iphone battery replacement. Appointment details included my model phone, but when I arrived at my appointment at Best Buy in Santa Clarita CA, I was told they did not have batteries in stock. I asked why they didn’t cancel my appointment since they had my details, and the geek squad rep told me they never look at that. I wasted days waiting for appointment, kept my commitment and travelled to Best Buy for this appointment, but Geek Squad didn’t even care about wasting the customers time. Why did they make an appointment if they didn’t have batteries??? Rep said I could prepay to order a battery, they would call me when it came in, and THEN they would schedule another appointment. NO WAY! For others’ sake, I hope Geek Squad management learns of this and makes some changes.

Horrible service. I had an appointment to replace the main board of my 1 yr. old microwave convection oven. They shipped the parts to my prior address - I haven't lived there for over 3 years - and did not show or call me. I was told they only received one of the parts (untrue as both were shipped to the wrong address) and that a tech should have called to advise he wasn't coming. They couldn't even tell me where the parts were shipped. And I kept getting a different response from each person I spoke with. Best Buy and the Geek Squad have lost my business. Horrible horrible service!!

Went there on an appointment to repair broken iphone screen, arrived on time but had to wait more than half an hour. There was few of them there but simply not taking customers who are waiting, very poor sense of professionalism. Anyway when my turn came, one just looked at my screen and decided it can't be repaired and offered to replace the whole iphone for more than double the price. Of course I did not believe their scam, rather, I walked across the street to Phone Heaven and got the screen repaired in less than 20 minutes, less time than what they made me wait!!! Such dishonest and unprofessional manners. Wonder how they still in business!!!

The geek squad has always been helpful and they've always given really good advice. I'm going to stick with them.
