Absolutely amazing! They are nice, and very good at what they do. My laptop pooped out on me, and when I trusted Apple to help me out, they quoted me 50.00 to fix a "wire" of sorts, and a week later, I get a call from apple saying my motherboard is "fried" and that it is going to cost 500.00 to replace it. I told them no thank you, and found these guys on google with fantastic reviews. They figured out that my hard drive was bad...not the motherboard. With parts and labor, I left with a laptop that was good as new for only 250.56. Please. Save your time and money and go to these guys! After my experience I wouldn't trust Apple to fix a sandwich! Thanks Computerman! You guys ROCK!

Bay Area Computerman did a great job of diagnosing and repairing my laptop so I did not have to go and buy a new one - well worth it! Kevin the owner even reviewed how to take care of a laptop with my daughter and checked it out for any issues - time a lot of people do not bother to take this day and age. Very reasonable prices and always a good experience.

Horrible customer service. There was a bald guy who would not even listen to the issue that caused my laptop to power off. He was too busy telling me to buy another computer for 200 dollars on e-bay and trying to convince me it was a bad sector damaged on my hard drive issue. Needless to say I debugged it and it turned out the battery was damaged and was causing the periodic shutoff. It felt like I had to bow to his knowledge without even describing what was wrong or what I wanted done. Just read the owners response to my review : To accuse me of being out of control is erroneous. I had to listen to a 20 min rant from baldy about how he knew best what was wrong with my computer before even hearing the problem completely. I should have left instantly at the bad and horrible treatment but I was too busy trying to figure the right solution to the problem. When I stood my ground and asked him a few pointed questions he did not liked to be cornered and asked me to leave. Just solve the issue pertaining to the computer in question in a logical manner instead of going by some unrelated fix!! Please don't take the customer to be completely dumb. Especially of all the places here in the Silicon Valley. The most recent response by this business is to accuse me of being drunk. This is complete nonsense. It's interesting how this claim is revised after more then a year . Suddenly the response changes to I was drunk ! Own up to the review. Better the customer service and grow up. Besides, a drunk person would never trouble shoot a computer and give you the right solution :)

Great local shop. Neat, orderly, and the technicians seem qualified. I paid their minimal rate of $29.95 to have a DVD drive installed in a new desktop. Was done while I waited and just took about 10 minutes. All in all, excellent service and I will definitely go there again

I am giving this company 3 stars only because of the amount of love they get from the people who have had their "bacon saved" by this company. And I understand that. But what I can't understand how they can treat a customer who bought a used computer from them like the scourge of the earth. I bought a used laptop "as is" last night, when I got it back to my residence, it wasn't even "as was." I sent them an email to their "info" address on their website early this morning detailing the problem with the wireless adapter. No response. I called them at noon today (05/07/2014) to see about getting a refund on this item and the guy was not only unkindly and acknowledged only reading some emails sent them (not mine), went belligerent, hung up on me. Is this the same company? Updating this post. 05/10/2014. The tech who sold me the laptop called me directly, wondering why I had not came the previous evening. I relayed him the events of the previous day and since the call was terminated, I had made the appointment. Long story made short, I went there Friday night where the tech spent a couple of hours "making it right" in replacing the wireless card so that I had a functional laptop. On shutting down, there was an update application problem and it wouldn't complete, we waited for about an hour with no results. I put the machine in hibernation mode and took it back to the room with the assurances from the tech that he would "fix it" if the update or powering it down corrupted it. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary, as I resolved the issue and applied the "failed" update. The laptop is working great now. I want to commend the tech for his patience, perseverance, and customer service. Oh, he even gave me a extra PMCIA network card to have in case the internal wireless card failed. Thank you for the great service.
