WATCHOUT!!! Didn't fulfill protection plan even after I paid for it Okay, so I’ve been using geek squad accidental protection for years and I mean like 5+ years now. I never had any issues and I was very satisfied with their service until recently. So I had the 2 year coverage on one of my lenses and it had dropped. Mind you I only had this lens for 2-3 Months so I’m fully covered. I went to turn in my lens for a repair and usually the service center does a great job of communicating and comforting me about my repairs. I never received any phone calls or texts. I had to call the store or check in multiple times. After two weeks and a half the lens had returned to the store. Usually if my lenses are beyond repair they would just reimburse me with store credit which to me is fine. But today I went into the Rancho Cucamonga location and they had told me that this lens is too damaged and isn’t viable for the warranty. Now this caught me off guard mind you like I said I’ve been a loyal customer to them for years and even had lenses that had suffered worse damages and they were always replaced or reimbursed no problem. But now I can’t even get credited or have it replaced even having geek squad accidental plans? The same coverage I have been using for years?! I really hope people see this. If I could get this resolved I’d be happy to give this a better review and even would try them again. But after this deal I’m pretty upset.

They can’t take in my PC because there’s no display due to their policy? That’s fine, ok. It didn’t help though when the advice I was given was to keep on picking at the parts myself or “just buy a new computer”. EDIT: The problem was the GPU being defective. Crazy how Geek Squad couldn’t/wouldn’t figure that out.

I have used Geek Squad for many years in different locations. Problems that were easily solved were dealt with quickly. With more complex problems I was called and informed of progress frequently. With really big problems I have had managers step in and replace the product. I have bought 2 desktops, 2 laptops and 3 phones and used Geek Squad for all.

I dropped off my software for the techs to reinstall on my computer. I had been having some issues with my computer and I took it in for a "tuneup". It ended up needing a bit more work and they had to do a factory reset or something like that. I'm glad we pay for the service yearly, so we're able to get the maintenance taken care of and it is much more manageable than paying out of pocket.

The most professional, friendly and polite service I have had. They took the time to explain everything as needed step by step and kept us informed as the progress of our service was being completed. After the work was completed they verified and showed us what was done and checked that the service was completed correctly. I will bring all my technical needs to this location in the future as needed. Thank you to all the wonderful people at this location.
