4/3/24- I am not from here and needed to send a package out. I used to shop at Stapels until it closed in my area. I walked in and was greeted. I like to look around before asking for help. When I did not find the items I was looking for I ran into Darryl who offered me assistance. I said yes and went over my list. Darryl took the time to show me around the store to get my shopping done. He also went over the promotions and told me about other ways to save money. Darryl did not seem bothered with my questions and he didn't make me feel like I was a burden. I hope management will recognize Darryl for his great customer service. If you're a local I encourage you to stop by and ask for Darryl if you need help.

I had no idea about toner cartridges and the staff were all so informative and helpful. I went home and signed up for the rewards program right after as it sounded really user friendly.

Cashier was incredibly nice and helpful π«Άπ½ other employees stocking shelves also checked in on us if we had any questions. Glad they have chair floor models to check them out before purchasing!

This is for the electronics recycling team. We saved all of my father's computer cords for one trip. And, in absence of a high-school recycling event (where the schools make money for filling a semi trailer full of this stuff) we went to Staples. I am onlynup from San Diego for the week, so I called first, told them I had a bunch of cords, and they confirmed that they accept them. At the Rancho Cordova store, we had to wait in line at the checkout register, only to have the older woman at the register tell us they will only accept 5 items. So, I know Staples makes money off of this stuff, but it apparently required some sort of effort on her part and hence the "policy" that was not communicated over the phone. Not really a service establishment, I guess.
