Shawn was so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient when helping me with my MacBook Air that was having battery issues. He was very professional and went out of his way to guide me to solutions for the problems I was having. His communication about the repair was prompt, thorough and thoughtful. He's someone you definitely want as a resource for computer issues and more. Absolutely 5 stars!

Customer service is good and helpful. I've had some tricky situations with my devices, really thought a couple of them were toast and tried everything to fix it myself, but it was rectified by Mobile Kangaroo's techs, with a decent price and timeline of repair. Ive been to this location a few times with different devices, some older and some still under warranty from Verizon, they paid the invoice. Unfortunately there is no Apple Store or Apple support near Petaluma, or many stores to choose with Apple support nearby. Mobile Kangaroo would be the place to go when dealing with Apple products. If it's an Apple device, or an attachment out of the normal, that's when I'd suggest calling them first, to make sure they service your device or product. Parking is a problem since it's located downtown Petaluma. I've been lucky enough, in the past with parking on that block, going approximately 3:30-4PM on Fridays.

Don’t go here. Just go to apple. This is an unprofessional and janky store. My computer was returned to me with more problems than when I brought it in and Shawn yelled at me when I requested it be fixed by him. Their technology is from the 90s and the last thing you want is to have to deal with a worsened computer problem and a single employee yelling at you with no recourse from their corporate franchise.

Context: I had a terrible call with Apple customer service (of course). Was then sent a text like "how did we do?" and I flamed the person. I was HORRIFIED to then discover that the Apple feedback was actually asking about Shawn and Mobile Kangaroo - because it is truly my favorite Mac Repair place I've ever dealt with - and I've been getting Macs fixed for 25+ years. First, Shawn always either picks up the phone or texts me back in just a few minutes. He also doesn't forget about me when I'm waiting on updates - reporting his findings within seconds after he's diagnosed. If I text him back he immediately returns the text. He gets that I need my computer yesterday and actually acts that way. Honestly, name ANY service business in Sonoma County that you feel that way about? He also works hard to get me best price and best benefits out of my AppleCare coverage. I have the sense he works for ME and not Apple. He overdelivers, too. If he suggests it might take until Thursday I can almost bank on getting it back on a Wednesday. One of my favorite providers of any service in all of Sonoma Country, for realz.

Shawn got my MacBook Pro battery replaced and touch screen repaired faster than I expected, and it feels like a new computer. If I'd known it was going to be this quick and easy, I wouldn't have limped along for so long. And, heck, if I'd known it was going to be this quick I'd have had it repaired early rather than buying a new computer to replace it first. I will no longer be tempted to let myself limp along for far too long, making do with broken technology.
