Nate is great. He helped me out, was prompt and explained everything that was going on. He’s definitely a technical expert and gave me the impression he knew what he was doing. He also helped me find supplies that i need in the store. If i need computer help I’m returning, hopefully when he’s available!!!

I give them one (1) star because this review window doesn't have a minus one. My laptop was working fine, they told me that I need to take it in for a tune up so it won't begin having problems. 4 days later they call me and tell me my computer is dead! I should have read reviews before, not after. I bought an extended technical support warranty for a bit over 200 dollars and now I am afraid of calling them. I had the same problem 2 years ago with them with my previous desktop when I took it for a tune up, they told me I needed a new motherboard. I believe them and got a new one installed. Then my husband's laptop was slowing down a lot so he took it for a tune up. DEAD! They said it wouldn't turn on!!! It is a lie, now both our laptops are gone. Please, read the reviews before taking your computers there, they are not trustworthy, some of the techs seem to know what they do but the result is bad most of the time. It had happened to anyone I talked about it, every body has a bad story to tell from the Geek Squad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had Geek Squad protection plan for three years for my new computer that I purchased there. I when because I had a battery problem again, they told me to pay for a new one. And I know longer had the protection plan active. So I purchased a new battery or so I was told. Just a 2 year ago I had the same problem. I opened my laptop and found out the battery wasn't new at all it was damage and i didn't get all the nails on just the some. I fuckend paid 100$ dollars for a new one. I called them about it and they told me to bring it in so idk whas going on now. This the one on Oceanside CA were I live by. Am trying to put some pictures up. But can't on the battery they sold me first you guys to see. I bought me a new one on ebay.i got pictures as well.

Oceanside Geek squad has slow customer service. Only one person on the floor even though there's always more than two people waiting. It takes a long time to get the paperwork started and pick up. They don't answer the phone. I called a few times to check on my laptop and when I left a message there was no call back. They don't update the website to check on repair service only have the time your product was checked in.
