HP Is not a fan of Best Buy Geek Squad & neither am I. It’s called ~ Bait & Switch. They Scammed me out of money, promised that my computer can be fixed; it was a a simple fix, just to find out they didn’t fix my computer. Then, I found out they keep your personal information on the computer for 30 days. No one told me about this? I told them to delete it & they still haven’t.. Buyer Beware. I first inquired how much it would cost to have my computer looked at. Keyboard not working correctly. After the gentleman looked at the computer and the keyboard he responded… IT’S NOT A PROBLEM, THIS IS A SIMPLE FIX! Come back in 2 DAYS! The only reason I paid for the year was because I was assured that they could fix it! Come back in 2 days. In 2 days, it wasn’t ready or fixed. I came back 3rd day & they told me sorry we can’t fix it. I don’t think they tried. I asked for my money back and the woman said well you would’ve paid more had we just looked at it. I told her the only reason I left it was because I was assured that it could be fixed. Otherwise, I would’ve put that money towards a new computer. With much frustration I called HP. They remote into my computer. Yes, it’s the keyboard. When I asked him how much it was to Repair it, he stated roughly $100 for the Keyboard then labor. Again, I called Best Buy Geek Squad, and said I want my Money back. I felt lied to and scammed. I told them why didn’t they fix it. The man said to me “I don’t know enough about HP.” I responded if you don’t know about HP then why did Geek Squad take myElitebook, Tell me you could fix it then tell me you can’t but take my money? The young man didn’t remember me at the beginning of the conversation, but then tried to state actual facts and communication towards the last of the communication. I do not like being gaslighted!!

The geek squad was not that satisfying, it appears to be a bait and switch situation. They sold me a 1 year Tech support membership then decided to send out my laptop without doing a diagnostic analysis. Not only did I just pay them $199 for the membership, but now They want me to pay another $1500 for a diagnostic test on a Dell Inspiron 1500 Laptop that cost about $500. By the way DONT BUY ANY DELL LAPTOPS. THEY SUCK !

Branden did my dishwasher installation today . He was an absolute professional and fixed a shoddy installation job from 13 years ago. He went through everything step by step with me, was patient, thorough and honestly provided wonderful service . I’ve never used geek squad before but I was extremely pleased with this experience and will only be calling in Branden for fixes from now on. Thank you Branden!

The representative was very patient and she worked with me for 1 hour 30 minutes trying to remote into my computer but for some reason it just wouldn't work. I was impressed with her determination to help and I wasn't even charged for their time spent!

Came here to look for a laptop for my wife and a young man named Abe was super helpful, but ended up buy a Switch because that's why I came 😅 the cashier man with long hair didn't really seem to be as great
