I never write reviews so the fact that I was compelled to do so should show something. Absolutely horrible experience. These people are con artists and scammers and they know it. They take advantage of desperate people by charging a “flat fee” of $198 and a subscription charge of $70 A MONTH. After id already agreed to this, my computer proceeded to work again by my brother simply taking the battery out and reinstalling it, and I called back and said I would like a refund since no services were performed besides a 30 minute “troubleshoot” where they told me things I’d already tried like holding the power button and then turning it on. When I expressed this, the tone completely changed and they hung up the phone on me without even a polite goodbye. They kept insisting that it was “my fault” as a customer for “not reading the contract” but I never signed a thing! I should have known before agreeing that it was an absolute sham. Do not do business with these people. I thought because it showed up in Newport that I could take my computer in to a physical store, I did not think I’d be roped into this racket. When I said over the phone I’d be disputing the charges with my bank, they said “okay well we record our calls so we can show the bank how you agreed” LITERALLY arguing with me, the customer, and being completely unprofessional. I also never consented to my call being recorded. There are so many reviews online on yelp of this national company and how the CEO is a crook and the technicians are improperly compensated. The complaints to this business on the BBB are met with the CEO violently retaliating in all capital letters—so unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with a BBB and disputing the charge for fraud. Just take your computer to Best Buy. Unbelievable.

I have had Rescuecom for almost a year now. It has been a great experience and I am looking forward to continuing into another year. Anytime I have had a question or concern they are right on it. I cannot begin to tell the world how good this service is. I have been with Rescuecom a number of years. Never have I been disappointed. I have always been amazed at their patience, their complete attention and expertise. Rescuecom has been a breath of fresh air for me and my Company! I had issue and had to go to Microsoft. After many hours on the phone I finally received a case #. I tried to work directly with Microsoft but to no avail! I contacted Microsoft but they never got back to me. Even after I had a case number. I had it with them but they owned me and you due to everything microsoft owns. I got online and found a Microsoft expert, David Millman with Rescuecom Of Newport Beach, and his company Rescuecom HELP with the issue. David got on the problem, got Microsoft involved, and He took complete control and save me and my company 15 days of already waiting for Microsoft to do anything! David and his company got it done in 2 days.
