Daniel at the location in Napa, CA was awesome. Customer service was superb. His knowledge of the products and repairs required made me feel comfortable and at ease and had me assured that I would get exactly what I needed done. Even though I had an appointment for my son's broken phone, he also assisted with my husband's phone issue as well. We service with Verizon and my husband had the most difficult time with Verizon's customer service over the phone and at the physical location and even had issues with Asurion customer service over the phone. There was absolutely no one that would help with the data transfer to his placement phone due to my husband's emails/text being inaccessible because the original phone's screen was broken....we were struggling with this issue for days thinking we would lose all of our children's photos and other important memories but DANIEL, with his expertise, helped us and fixed the issue with no problems and we greatly appreciate him and because of him believe in Asurion because my husband was to the point to where he was ready to take the insurance off the phone and actually go to a whole different phone carrier and insurance co....so, thank you Daniel!!! You rock!!!

Getting an appointment was beyond fast. It was literally less than 24 hours of the claim being processed. The tech sent me a text prior to his arrival and he pulled up and fixed the phone right at his vehicle 🚗, it took about less than 30 minutes. I was stressing that I would have to pay a huge deductible but nope only paid $29 for a cracked screen on a IPhone 14 Pro Max. Very professional courtesy and quick. I would absolutely use this mobile service again as well as refer. Thanks again, Assurion

I have a Google Pixel 4a that had an OS update that Google acknowledged would drain my battery, which required a battery replacement. I brought the phone to uBreakiFix in Napa because they had a high rating and it was relatively close to where I live (1 hour away). Normally I would do this kind of work myself, but Google was covering the cost, so it made sense to let somebody else do the work. As far as I could tell at the time, everything was fine when I received the phone from uBreakiFix. It is of course difficult to tell once the phone is sealed up (adhesive is used to close up the phone). I have had a known issue with my USB-C charging port. About 2 weeks after the visit I decided to replace the USB-C charging port. When I started to remove the phone from my phone case, the back cover of the phone started to pry away from the rest of the phone. This had never happened to me before. I proceeded with the repair to find that 1 screw was missing from the screen ribbon and 8 screws (all the screws) were missing from the mid-frame connecting to the back cover. The lack of those 8 screws was likely the reason for the back cover prying away from the phone. I called uBreakiFix at 10am on Saturday 2/8/25 (two weeks after my initial visit). I explained to the person on the phone what I had observed (e.g., back cover, no screws, etc.). He apologized to me on behalf of the company, said he would talk to the manager, and he would get back to me about the availability of the screws. About 1.5 hours pass, and I decide to call again. This time I got somebody else on the phone. She explained that the original technician I had talked to got busy and that's why nobody got back to me. So I explained to her what had happened. She said that the manager said that they ALWAYS return their devices in the state that they found it. If I wanted the screws replaced, then I would have to bring the phone in to see if they have screws that fit. I figured it would cost about $10 in gas to get to Napa and back, which is comparable to the cost of the replacement parts. A $10 trip for potential disappointment was not what I wanted. So I ordered the parts online instead. Is it possible that my phone never had those screws? Sure, though the fact that the back cover never came off before the repair would seem to suggest otherwise. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt. If the technician saw that the screws were missing, then why didn't they tell me? I can accept that they forgot or that's just the amount of care that goes into this kind of repair at this shop. It's really difficult to say either way. I'm a pretty handy guy, so it's unlikely that I will use this shop in the future. The only reason I came here was because the battery replacement was covered. I'm giving them two stars because they were nice in person, and they managed to install the battery. I would have given 5 stars if they just properly rectified the situation. Even the assertion by the manager that they always return devices in the original state insinuates that I gave them a phone with parts missing. Again, that's possible, but I know from my experience that the screws were likely not replaced when the battery was replaced.. If you do bring your phone here, then inspect it before you leave. Put the phone back in your case. Take the phone back out. The phone screen is attached with adhesive, so It's impossible for you to know if there's anything missing once it is closed up. Check to see that the seals are done well (you can find tear-down guides online). Having a little knowledge about the repair, even if you don't do it yourself, will help you inspect the workmanship.

Everyone was super nice - service on a PC is not fast but I wasn't in a hurry. They kept the power cord I provided with my tower on drop-off and did not return it. I don't feel like driving back out there if they have it I bought another one. Not great at communicating things but at least they were nice. I'm betting they are just overloaded with other repairs and I had to order extra parts as well. I'd recommend if you don't mind a little wait, just check in with them once a week yo see how things are going.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience getting my phone screen repaired at uBreakiFix. I paid $270 for an aftermarket screen replacement, and the phone didn’t work properly for the next 5 days. When I returned to get it looked at, the tech showed little concern and offered to replace with a factory screen-for nearly $500. The worst part? They refused to refund The cost of the aftermarket screen, even though they clearly botched the initial installation. This was only five days later, and the delay was due to their store being closed for the holiday weekend. Now I’m stuck trading in my phone for pennies on the dollar because of their shotty work. This is bad business, plain and simple. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for phone repairs if you value your time, money, and device.
