Disappointing Experience with Geek Squad at Best Buy I booked a service appointment through Apple Support to have my phone glass repaired at the nearest Geek Squad location, with the first available time being 5:20 PM today. I showed up on time, only to be told by the staff that they could not service my phone because they were “super busy.” This was extremely frustrating, especially since the appointment slot was available and booked in advance. When I asked why they offered the slot if they couldn’t honor it, I received no clear answer. The representative, Francine, who claimed to be a supervisor, was unhelpful and just repeatedly suggested that I come back tomorrow. I explained that I had driven 30 minutes to get there and that this was not a feasible solution for me, yet she showed no willingness to offer any alternative or assistance. I find it unacceptable that a service as reputable as Geek Squad could not manage its bookings properly or provide an effective solution when a mistake is clearly on their end. This experience wasted my time and caused a great deal of inconvenience. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder to improve customer service and ensure this doesn’t happen to others.

The service is horrible. The entire experience was shady to say the least Jocelyn the Geek squad specializes said my laptop needed to be sent out for repair because they don't repair those device's there. But stated to speed up the process the computer could be diagnose for $100 charge. I rufused to pay extra since my insurance covered repairs. She continued the process to check in my device. In the product information she stated my laptop had minor scratches and scuffs. I sign off on the description since it was minor and caused by normal used. Fast forward to pick up my laptop has very visible dents from a dropped and the inside of the laptop appears damaged the Agent said that since it was stated in the intake theirs nothing they can do this is not minor an clearly looks like a dropped.

I turned in my computer for repair and was expected for it to only take 7-10 days... It has been over a month and I have tried contacting customer support and I was informed their system was down and they cannot track the status of my repair. They said they would call me back and I have yet to hear anything back after a week.

NEVER AGAIN! They accepted my Dell laptop to replace cracked screen over a week ago. Received multiple emails they could not repair and are sending it back. Now, I can not go back to work on 2nd I have to find another place to repair my cracked screen. The customer service on the phone I should have recorded and put up on YouTube. When I go pick up my computer, I will record for my radio show this is gonna be fun, at least my boss will see why I can not go back to work. I'm very upset and will be taking this up to corporate.

If you own an Apple product, do NOT take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy. Completely useless. The guy that took a look at my iPad (stayed frozen @ Apple logo when turning on) told me there was nothing he could do about it and that’d I’d have to buy a new one. I decided to take it to an actual Apple store and they were able to fix it. I did lose everything but luckily I had everything important backed up. Beats paying for a whole new iPad though.
