West LA Geek Squad (Gabriel) built and sold me a defective computer. After hours and hours on the phone, Best Buy provided me with a UPS shipping label to return the defective product. UPS AND BEST BUY BOTH ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE PRODUCT IS AT BEST BUYS WAREHOUSE, but it only scanned the computer case not all the returned components. The product never worked. Best Buy has the returned product. It is all documented via UPS tracking, and for 2 full months, I have been promised a refund for over $1,000, which I have never received. That is theft. If you work at Best Buy LA or Geek Squad in West LA call me to settle this matter. Five calls have been escalated to the manager of this store and I have never received a call. Best Buy is basically a criminal enterprise. You have my emails, voicemails, call records, shipping records, your own agents notes, UPS confirmation, but no refund? Please explain, because 100 hours on hold has gotten me no where; and you have stolen approximately $1,000 from me. Gabriel will remember me and my 13 year old son he built the non functioning computer for. And to all our family friends at the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club of Santa Monica and Franklin Elementary and Lincoln Middle School and SaMo High School; stay away from this Best Buy. They totally ripped our family off. Don’t let it happen to you.

On May 4th 2023 I brought my HP 17 Laptop (which I purchased there) to the Geek Squad at the 11301 Pico BL Best Buy location because it had some start-up problems (namely it would not start-up). I was assigned to a technician called Khaled who solved the problems in a few minutes and reviewed a few possible causes and gave me some tips designed to prevent a recurrence. He was fantastic!! By far the best experience I have had at Best Buy in my 20+ years as a customer.

I'm very grateful and happy with the swiftness Geek Squad's Angel was able to go behind my system administration and return control of my computer to me. I went online via phone to set-up an appointment, and there was one available in less than 1 hour. I packed-up my system and arrived a bit early. There was only 1 person in line before me, and a second technician came out and we both were being helped without more than a moment's wait. Angel was professional, swift and in less than 15 minutes, had me up and running again. I'm very happy.

Scheduled a Geek Squad service appointment. Best Buy called to confirm my appointment window for 3-7pm, Geek Squad technician called to give me a 1-3pm arrival window. He actually arrived at 11:30am, and because I was on a work call and couldn't pick up, they said I was a 'no show' and made me reschedule for a week later. But that's not the frustrating part - in my attempts to understand what happened, I spoke to 4 different people at 3 different locations - all before my actual appointment time - and no one could provide me a reason why someone wasn't coming during my scheduled appointment time. How is their mistake always the customer's fault? And why is it that there is no way to hold Geek Squad accountable for a paid service?
