Very friendly service, and they saved me from paying way too much to recover my data. I thought I was going to have to ship my external hard drive off to a data recovery service, but Elena took a look at it first and determined that the hard drive was fine, it was just the housing that was damaged. She took the casing off and sold me a cable to connect it to my computer and get everything off of it. Saved my day!!

First off my apologies to the owners of LMS Computer Repair for writing my review late. Trust me I kept thinking about your exceptional, customer oriented service. It blew me away. I have been to a few computer repair shops in the past, but NEVER LIKE THIS. Honestly, I am thanking my lucky stars for finding a gem of a place. My computer was sloooowwww and it lagged forever when I needed it. So, I did a search for a Dell Technician near me and LMS Computer Repair was at the top of the list. One of the reviews said that it was a family owned computer business. A family owned computer business? Who knew! That's cool. So, I made a call. Ok, the family is bilingual in English and Spanish. The female co-owner had such a fun, spunky persona and I had to check it out. No appointment needed! Heck, yes. Walk-ins are welcome. I drove 50 minutes to get to this place and every minute and gas mileage was worth it. I arrived. The place is in the downtown area, slightly hood but everyone keeps to themselves. The people are doing their own thing. I enter the door and the female co-owner approaches me and recognizes my voice from the phone call. We chatted about what is wrong with the computer and they said that they are going to do a check to see if it is my hard drive that is causing my laptop to be extremely slow. They said come back in an hour. Went back and it was not the hard drive. Thank goodness. Next, they were going to run a disk repair program to sort all the errors into the proper locations. I had a crazy amount of errors, a ridiculous number that I can not recall. The disk repair process took about 2-2 and a half hours. That was because of all the things wrong with my computer. (Side note-if your computer has more errors than mine they said that the time it takes to clean out takes longer.-It's the computers fault.) Now, my computer is clean and they suggest for me to go and get the 1 TB of SSD Internal Hard Drive for my laptop. More storage, memory, and it is ridiculously fast. Six times faster. They sold me. I asked for the nearest Best Buy (LMS does carry SSD's, however I wanted the 1 TB and they had none on hand.) Bought it as BB and went back. And I thought that I had to pick it up the next day, but they worked on it-the senior male owner. This man brings computers from the dead like Victor Frankenstein does to the monster Frankenstein. Genius. Did I mention that the young male co-owner has his skills and talents, and the female co-owner understands how computers work too. They are brilliant. Doctors of computers. And yes, my computer is better than brand new because of them. There are a few things to note: your computer may be an older model but call and ask what they can do (Probably everything), how long it is going to take, what your issue(s) are. Be patient, it's the computer that can take long not them. They are doing everything that they can. They want to help the computers to help the people out. The place may not look like one of those typical computer repair places and that's why it is better. They are wonderful people. Oh, and if your computer requires a special part that would be the only reason that it is delayed, that's out of their hands. One last thing, they walk through errors on your computer then after they fix something they have you test it out. They are above and beyond. And so be kind and patient because they want to help. My macbook was out due to water damage and they were able to get it up and running faster than expected, while other repair shops gave me a hard time about the issue. Very nice people and great service, this place is a gem!
