MelroseMAC is an awesome shop for video and audio professionals. They helped me compare two options, loaded up Mac Mini or Mac Stdio ready to go. MelroseMAC helped enable me to make the clear and best choice. My Mac Studio was perfect for a digital video marketing campaign on Premiere, editng 4K with graphic layers... no proxies... smooth going throughout thanks to that faster processor. They know their stuff!!

I had to get a screen repair and it clocked in around 800 bucks. That sucks , but it is what it is. They got it ready a day ahead of schedule, which is nice, faster than apple. But when I picked it up, they said I still owed around 25 more dollars because I had been misquoted originally. Granted, that's not gonna break the bank, but I couldnt get my laptop back before paying the extra amount because the work had been done. Felt kinda like bad business.

I could write paragraphs about how terrible these people are. This was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had with an Apple repair. Joseph Amber (the guy in the service department) is a bold face liar. I witnessed him lie to the face of a customer right in front of me and then lied to my face as well. They don’t keep their word at all. They will tell you everything you need to hear to get your money and take your item but I guarantee you from there here comes the lies. You can give the man a direct quote of something HE SAID and he will literally look you in the eyes and tell you he did not say that. You will either pay more than what they tell you or end up not getting anything fixed at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THIS IS YOUR SIGN

I recently had a very disappointing experience with this Apple-certified store regarding my 2019 MacBook Pro repair. In March 2024, I brought my laptop in because it had a battery issue. I was assured that my AppleCare would cover the repair. After a few days, I was informed that there was liquid damage, which I found surprising as my laptop had never been in contact with any liquids. Despite my initial shock, I paid the $299 repair fee because I needed my laptop back in working condition. Unfortunately, three months later, my laptop refused to turn on again. I brought it back to the Apple Store, where I was told the repeated problem would be taken care of. However, after sending it to their repair center, I was once again told there was liquid damage. This time, the repair cost was quoted at an outrageous $1499, with no AppleCare coverage remaining. I was particularly frustrated when one staff member mentioned “coffee liquid damage,” especially since I do not drink coffee and my laptop has never been exposed to it. The inconsistency in the diagnosis and the lack of clear communication are unacceptable. The initial repair should have resolved any issues, and I should not have to pay such an exorbitant amount for what appears to be a misdiagnosis or poor initial repair. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this store. My experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and financially draining. I expected better service and accountability from an Apple-certified store.

Don’t waste your time if you’re going for any sort of Apple repair. The Apple site had them listed them as available for same day appointment so I trekked all the way to Burbank. I had two separate issues, one for my Macbook and one for my iPhone. For my MacBook the battery is old and dies when it’s not plugged in. It’s a super common issue with old MacBooks. The guy at the counter tells me in order to get it fixed I’d first need to do a $75 “diagnostic test”. Fun fact this is a scam and any Apple Store would never require that. I said do they do this at the Apple Store, to which he replied no. It’s clearly a scam for them to make money on a simple repair. I said ok I’ll pass on that, for my iPhone I just need to replace the back screen. Again a very common thing. He told me they would need to hold the phone for 3 days while they ordered new parts. Again this is incredibly common repair. I said ok never mind and left. What a waste of time. I went to Sherman oaks Apple Store and got both repairs done on the spot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. JUST GO TO APPLE STORE
