The first time I went in to repair my device (an iPhone 7+), I spent $114.29 for a new screen and tempered glass to protect the screen from damage. The man behind the counter (I’m not sure of his name) said that I would have a **LIFETIME** warranty for everything my screen endures, excluding water damage. The repair was an hour long and he didn’t call us. I had to go for building and pick it up. I wasn’t upset about it, honestly. I was glad my phone was repaired and I could move on. Not *EVEN* three days later, my phone was **stepped on** by another student in the building I attend school at. The LCD screen had taken a bit of damage, so I brought my phone in on a Friday to have it repaired but this time, there was a woman behind the counter. I explained what had happened and what kind of repair would be needed and she said the warranty didn’t cover water damage. I told her it wasn’t water damage and she proceeded to give me the price to fix the screen. I ended up just walking out because I didn’t have enough money to pay for the new LCD screen. It’s quite upsetting to be guaranteed one thing but told something different by another person.

Absolutely disappointing in almost every way. Brought my laptop in for virus cleaning. They said it would take up to 5 business days which seemed like a long time based on my past experiences, but I decided to go with them since I just moved here and didn't know where else to go. Long story short, and I mean *long* story, I started calling to track down my laptop on day 6, with no less than 5 phone conversations over 14 days. Over this time, the owner, Chris, was extremely rude, dismissive, couldn't find the technician, then finally told me that they decided I needed a full system recovery and wiped my computer before asking me, changed the quoted price, and when I asked why it was taking so long, on day 10, he told me if I didn't like it, my laptop "was ready for pick up right now." Then they didn't even restore "all of my information" as they said they would since they told me all of my data was safe and recoverable. The only saving grace of this company is Lance, who was very helpful and finally got the laptop back to me, although I had to bring it back to him yet again a few days later, to get the rest of my data put back on, after realizing MOST of it was missing, which he mistakenly didn't replace after the system wipe. This again, took another day and two more trips to the shop. Almost a month later, we called to be sure they weren't retaining my data and asked about their policy for keeping client's personal data. We were told that they "would like to keep it 6 months", but that my data was already erased because they had done a lot of other recoveries lately. So it is unclear what their policy actually is. I can't speak about the quality of service I received since it was ultimately just a system reboot, but every other angle of my experience here was poor, so I will definitely AVOID this place in the future.

Digital Java is by far the best technology repair place around. They are always friendly and helpful when you come in. They will explain the problem give u an accurate price and if the price changes they will let you know before they go ahead with it. I just had my laptop repaired for the 2nd time (it's been a very troubling laptop) and I brought it in. They we fixing it, and accidentally broke a piece. They gave me a call and apologized and took care of the cost and fixed it without extra payment. They will always take care of you,and help you in any way they can. If you ever need something fixed, definitely go check them out!

The battery in my iPhone 6 had been dying very quickly and sporadically for the past couple days so I took it to my carrier, Sprint, to get it looked at and hopefully replaced with the warranty that we pay for. Sprint took a look at it and noticed that my phone had somehow been bent, claimed the battery was damaged because of this, and concluded that this was physical damage that voided my warranty. After spending the rest of the day trying to cost effectively fix my phone to no avail, I stumbled upon Digital Java. I described my problem to Chris, who confidently said that he could have the battery replaced and the phone bent back to normal immediately for less than $50. This was exactly what I needed to hear, and 15 minutes later, the phone was fixed and ready to go with an upgraded battery. Everyone on staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful with my dilemma. The battery is already working 100% better and they gave me a six month warranty to boot. I'm very satisfied and am already recommending the place to my friends.

Called about an issue with my surface pro. They were nice, knowledgeable and willing to give me a possible solution prior to bringing it in instead of just telling me to come in and charge me for a possible simple fix. That says a lot about their character to me. I’ll use them in the future.
