Do not help individuals anymore. If you're not a company they don't help

I went to multiple agencies between Northern Louisiana and Little Rock, everyone else was only trying to “up sale” me. Everyone was recommending I get a new computer. The moment I reached out to Computer Troubleshooters they were helpful and servicing. They diagnosed as much as they could over the phone before I actually came into the store. They have their services and prices posted and they let you know beforehand if your repairs may be beyond the usual price quotes. They replaced my old laptop screen (17.3inches) within 3 days. I am recommending them to anyone and everyone who needs outstanding and intelligible service from down home caring folk.

Scott advised me that the price would be around $64 unless he had to do some major repairs to it. My computer was only a year old, but it seemed to be loading pages slowly. I asked him how long it would take and he explained to me that normally they tell everyone 4 days, but because he could foresee no major problems it would probably take only 2 days. I went in 3 different days to pick up the computer only to find out he had not worked on it at all. He apologized and promised to call me when it was ready. He never call, so I showed up one morning and he told me that he needed to check one more thing and to come back after work that evening. When I came back that evening there was a lady there (who I assumed was the owner or wife of the owner). I asked how much and he replied $103. I was flabbergasted, and asked him why I was charged so much since he kept my computer for 6 days for no reason; and there was no major damages. He explained to me that he HAD to charge me this price because he had only made $750 that week, which was about half of what he was expected to make each week. In other words, he used me to help meet his quota for the week. I reluctantly paid the money, but from now on if my computer needs work I will gladly take it to Office Depot or anywhere else besides Computer Troubleshooters. I tell all of my friends and family not to patronize them either unless they don't mind getting ripped off.

Brought my tower in to be cleaned and see if they could help me upgrade past Windows 8. I was told to pay up-front, which seemed weird, but whatever. They had it for a week. Took it between El Dorado and Magnolia without letting me know, and I was called in regards of why I had a game in my Steam library. I understand that looking through files is part of the job, but going through a profile of mine and asking why I own a certain game seems like a breach of privacy. I got it back, saying they couldn't do anything to help my issue with moving up past Windows 8, and the inside was still dusty, meaning they didn't even bother opening it up. I recommend going anywhere else but here for PC repairs.

Bryan at Computer Troubleshooters in El Dorado, Arkansas has been very helpful to our small business. After spending just a little time with him he provided great value with new ideas and solutions for some IT problems we were facing. I totally recommend these guys!
