I rate the places I visit on attitude, experience and time. And frankly, I didn't have a problem with any of those when I visited Alatech. The owner was very nice and respectful, very knowledgeable as well. Not to mention my computer was done in a timely manner (1 day). The tech was busy that day so he took a look at my computer the next day. I had a free inspection.. I expected their to be at least a fee to look at my computer but, no their wasn't so that was a plus. Also, I know how businesses will try to upsell their merchandise to customers to earn a quick buck, which in my mind is very pushy and makes me feel like I have to shell out money for something I don't need.. Alatech didn't do that. They actually recommended one of their products, they didn't say I had to have it in order for my PC to work again which would've decreased my liking to the establishment. So, with that being said, I rate Alatech 5 stars for my experience there.

Normally I wouldn't write a positive review after not receiving the service, but I will this time. Alatech did diagnose my problem and told me what was needed to fix it. They quoted me a very reasonable rate and said they would just need the part (AC Port) to get the repair completed. They estimated they would have me ready in 3 days. Unfortunately, and I"m guessing it's because of all the supply chain issues we've had lately, they were unable to get the part in 2 weeks. Another place had the part in stock, so I had to go with them, but I would use these guys again once things got back to normal.
