uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

I thank you for cleaning my phone so that I could plug the charger in. However, the charge for this service was over the top. I spent about 3 minutes explaining my problem, the phone was taken to the back and was returned in about 30 seconds. I was charged $34.99 plus $3.50 tax (I didn't think we paid taxes on service). I understand having a basic service charge but not when the cleaning takes 30 seconds.

I had to wait 50 minutes before I could talk to a customer service rep. I had explained that I was leaving town for business trip and needed the job to be done fairly quickly. The service rep I spoke to a couple days before said it was a 5 to 10 minute job. After a two hour and 15 minute wait, I received my phone back, but was still having problems. I had to leave without the problem being corrected and will have to go back at a later date.

My only complaint is that I drove across town three separate times to drop off my phone for repair. The first time, 10/3/24, there was some Samsung Software update going on and you couldn't repair any Samsung phones that day. The second time,10/7/24, the guy told me that he didn't have the parts, but they would be in later that morning, however, still didn't want to take my phone then stating that he was the only one there and couldn't do it. I complained because I was there at opening, 10 AM sharp. He advised me to call first. My third time I called at 10 AM and they verified the parts were in to which I drove straight over and turned my phone over. I arrived at 6:30 PM and still had to wait 45 minutes. There should be a system for scheduling workers and parts on repairs that have appointments. I live in West Mobile and it's a little inconvenient to drive across town on a hope and a prayer. I am, however, happy with the work accomplished and would most likely bring it back to your store in the future if necessary. The employee who helped me on the third day was polite and helpful. Also he informed me it would possibly take till the end of the day.

They did happen to receive the wrong part when I initially dropped the phone off, but promptly ordered the correct part and had it overnighted for repair the next day. While my wife did have to go an additional night without a phone, their communication was consistent. The phone runs like new so no complaints. I'd continue to have them repair my devices.
