Computer Resource

A friend reccomended that I go to Computer Resource to get my needed laptop repairs because it is the "BEST place in Mobile" to have my laptop repair, and I am so glad that I took her advice!! They were very friendly, professional, and helpful from the start. My laptop was at least 6-7 years old, had never had any updates to the system and/or hardware, had very little memory, had an outdated mechanical hard drive, and worst of all...it was operating at a snails pace. The diagnostic process (which was free) took less than 10 minutes and they presented me with a great solution to my specfic laptop issues, and their solution was very fair based on my particular situation. Instead of pouring tons of money into repairing my antiquated laptop, they reccomended that I trade it in for one of their economical priced & gentlty used laptops that are completely up to date. I took their advice, traded in my old laptop, they copied my hard drive from my old laptop to the newer laptop I was purchasing from them so that I would not lose any of my important business documents stored on my old laptop hard drive, and all of this happened the same day within hours of me initially bringing it in for repairs! I greatly appreciate their honesty and for them for NOT trying to up-sale me a laptop that was not a comparable replacement for the one I traded into them. I highly recommend Computer Resource for all your computer related needs & I will definitely go back to them in the future, so please give Computer Resource a try should you find yourself in need of pc/laptop repairs! Wonderful repair shop! Took my computer here with hopes of salvaging it, and got results FAR beyond what I was hoping! Vince is a lovely man and I'm more than grateful for his patience when my budget took an unexpected hit from an emergency vet visit for my cat. Because of that we had to discuss changes in what I could get done, which was more than enough to get it back up and working! The prices are fair and Vince is very kind and patient. I will be coming back for future repairs!

My laptop basically broke in half, but EVERYTHING still worked fine. I took it to be repaired and they did a fantastic job fixing the casing and told us if anything wasn't working to bring it back. Well the mic and camera were not working so we took it back. They were not able to fix either, and also charged me another $50. So I paid $50 for for them to try to fix something that wasn't broken before I gave it to them.

After breaking my laptop, I shopped around for reviews of repair shops. This was closed to my job and gave them a try. Kept me in the loop with what was happening with it but ultimately could not repair it. Knowledgeable and friendly.
