My Dell laptop decided to attempt seppuku over the weekend. I did my damnedest to walk through the Windows Recovery tools and backup processes. Time and time again, I kept hitting a boot-up failure that was just way out of my wheelhouse to attempt to repair. Feeling that my laptop had now entered "boat anchor" mode, and that the staff at Geek Squad would simply tell me that I should just purchase a new unit with a 10% discount, I performed one last search online to try and find a reasonable and sure solution. I quickly found Hinley Computing Solutions, and was very impressed with the reviews. William (the owner) even took an emergency call from me just as I was preparing to resign myself to the Best Buy solution and talked me off of a cliff after discussing my laptop issues with him. He provided easy-to-understand and very knowledgeable information on the nature of my laptop issue, and proposed what seemed like an unbelievably simple and economical solution. He told me what I needed, where I could get it, and how much I should pay for it. I dropped off my laptop and the replacement part, and he reassured me that this solution would work (that my laptop would actually be better and have an even longer life) and gave me a time to pick it up the next morning. Upon picking it up the next day, William walked me through the changes that he made, and basically got me back into action without missing a beat. William provides a very necessary service predicated upon industry expertise and honesty. He has a new customer for life in me and I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any issues with their computing devices.
