Josh is GREAT! I have an Acer Nitro 5, and it was having charging issues. He was kind enough to allow me to drop off after hours, due to work schedule. Since he is one of the only people around that solders, I had to take a risk. Turns out I had a faulty adapter that caused a sort of short circuit in the charger port. It was about a 3 week wait as he is VERY BUSY ( for those who sent complaints ) and he had to wait on UPS to deliver parts. He was able to get it working and ordered/provided me with a new adapter and a back up for emergencies ( I need a 180 and IF I have to use lower there are only certain ones that work with my model, so he made sure it was correct for me). I am not at all tech savvy. He made sure to explain it in a way that I could understand. Definitely would recommend. PLEASE NOTE: Josh stays busy with house calls and some very detailed work. Sometimes he is slower then we like due to it. It does not mean he's not working, he's handling multiple projects at once, and there is only so much he can do in a day.

I was excited to give this business a shot. Today I was planning on talking to someone over the phone about bringing my PC to get some work done on it. I have called 4 or 5 times and no answer for any of my phone calls. I tried texting the number. No answer. Extremely frustrated that this is my first impression. I read lots of reviews on this business before deciding to give it a shot. The main take away I saw was lack of response from calls or texts. I see that hasn’t changed. If you are that busy then maybe consider having a second employee to help field this. Edit: I went by water work today just in case the guy was busy, hoping to talk to him in person, but even those business hours show closing at 6:00pm, I was there at 4:45 with a closed sign on the door saying out for “in-home appointment, please call or text.” I did that multiple times already today as stated above. How am I ever supposed to talk to someone who doesn’t answer my calls or is not in their business when I show up?

It was a great experience and I was treated like family, I was provided with expertise and lot's of knowledge in the field. I received regular updates through the period of the repair and had all my questions answered. The job was completed quickly and the price was highly competitive. I was helped by Josh I think his name was and will be back and recommend anyone else to go here for anything computer related.

The Technician was very experienced and easily diagnosed a resolved my issues and provided extra work without any extra charge. If you want a business that will go the extra mile come here as I highly recommend the services. It should be Conquistador Tech and Gaming in Gardendale Alabama.

As I write this I am making my 14th call, and 7th text message to Josh. I had high hopes for this guy as I know people who have used him before. Up until 2 days ago he responded in a somewhat timely manner but since has basically ghosted me. I needed my laptop for my classes that start Monday. After asking him days ago if he could meet on a Sunday to pick it up and saying that he COULD have me pick it up on Sunday has not said a word. At first I was understanding, because it is the weekend, however, at the same time you told me I could pick it up on Sunday. At the point where I have now called you 20 times and sent you numerous messages it's considered highly unprofessional. Not only is he not responding but his voice-mail is full so all I can do is text and call. This is not the only time in the experience that he has seemed unprofessional. He told me that I could drop my laptop off at 10 A.M. about a week ago, (I had to get someone else to drop it off because I had to be at work at 9). Had to wait 45 minutes. He didn't get to the store until 10:45. Many other reviews have claimed that he has kept them up to date on the process, not my case. I have had to reach out each time. He told me that it should be ready Thursday night or sometime Friday. Friday afternoon roles around and I reach out asking when a good time would be to come by and only then does he tell me the last part won't arrive until Saturday, so thats when i ask about picking it up on Sunday and he confirms. So here I am on Sunday This whole experience has been unprofessional and I haven't even gotten my computer back yet. Let's just hope he responds and my computer is fixed.
